Why do I keep doing this? I have to get up in ... fuck, four hours now for work, and still I'm screwing around online. I wanted to just watch the local news through the weather & head for bed when sports came on, but no! I don't have the freakin' willpower to stick to my own damn bedtime. I swear, I just got on the computer to reload my George Carlin audiobooks on my player. Then I remembered I'd missed the last Cast-On when I loaded it last time, so I hit the website to download that and that's all it took. Forgive me, O Body, for I am weak & foolish late at night.

I'm not even doing anything normal like catching up on emails, either, just literally looking for "random crap" online. That search on Google produced several blog links - one apparently from a Battlestar: Galactica fan with lots of friends who've adopted kids from China, judging from the pics. (Like I bothered to read it.) The search also led to an - unusual - quiz, which apparently somehow links me to 70's Batman...

You scored 38 rocking, 53 humor, and 68 imagination!

Awesome! You're nearly mediocre!

But that's okay... you can handle virtually anything life sends your way be it angry hornets or a new Michael Bolton album. People enjoy your company. You are not afraid to light a fart.

May the force be with you.

My test tracked 3 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

Ahh, must've been that line about the Force. Haven't been able to get my Star Wars/Firefly mashup Engineer from gaming out of my head all week. She's never been a Believer, but the current surprise separation from her new husband may drive her to seek refuge in the faith of her childhood. My next entry has a poll to help decide what she's going to do about it. (I couldn't get it to work unless it was a separate entry. And now it's 3 1/2 hours to that wake-up call.)

Damn, and I still haven't set up my coffee pot for the morning. At least I got my sock leg done & ready to start the heel. Looks like I'll be hitting Starbucks on the way to work again...
