I'm not too surprised here @ 01:00 am

Current Mood: contemplative contemplative
Current Music: Blackbird?

Your wings are BROKEN and tattered. You are
an angelic spirit who has fallen from grace for
one reason or another - possibly, you made one
tragic mistake that cost you everything. Or
maybe you were blamed for a crime you didn't
commit. In any case, you are faithless and
joyless. You find no happiness, love, or
acceptance in your love or in yourself. Most
days are a burden and you wonder when the
hurting will end. Sweet, beautiful and
sorrowful, you paint a tragic and touching
picture. You are the one that few understand.
Those that do know you are likely to love you
deeply and wish that they could do something to
ease your pain. You are constantly living in
memories of better times and a better world.
You are hard on yourself and self-critical or
self-loathing. Feeling rejected and unloved,
you are sensitive, caring, deep, and despite
your tainted nature, your soul is
breathtakingly beautiful.

*~*~*Claim Your Wings - Pics and Long Answers*~*~*
brought to you by Quizilla

The past couple of days have been pretty good ones, but the two before that were dismal. Apathy mainly, as if nothing was worth doing - nothing at all. I was off work the last two nights, and more sleep & time with family helped a lot.

There's a song going through my head that I can't recall the name of, or the artist, except I think the vocal was male.

Blackbird singin' in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All my life
I was only waiting for this moment to arrive

If anybody knows who/where this song's from, and where I can find an mp3 of it, please let me know.

Now, for a quick card from the Tarot of the Animal Lords before heading upstairs to work.

Reversed 10 of Wands - Elk

Elk-headed wanderer in a green robe, hiking uphill past a copse of evergreens. Snow falling around him, but he doesn't seem concerned. Carrying a walking stick and a pack ofer his shoulder, a little axe sticking out of the pack.

Most decks this is someone carrying a huge burden, about ready to drop it, but the elk doesn't seem burdened by his load, or by the weather. Making one's way through a troubled environment, with the reversal it's more internal than external. It's been pretty bleak in here lately, but nothing I can't get through. :)

I had no idea this was a Beatles tune. Thanks!
