While I was getting these out of the camera, I also found the Roza socks I finished a couple of months ago. This was the yarn
Pattern: Roza by Grumperina (Interweave Knits, Spring 2007)
Yarn: Trekking XXL, color 109
Needles: US #1 & #0 dpns
I also found a couple of photos from Stephanie Pearl-McPhee's book tour last April. She held my baby Roza (started the previous night) while I held her tour sock.
After the Yarn Harlot's lecture, I got a close-up look at her knitting the Big Pink Thing.
She's got the back end of her right-hand needle tucked under her arm, holding it stationary. The left needle barely moves around the end of the other needle, while her fingers flick the yarn back and forth. Production knitting, I think she called it, a European style designed for speed. This progress pic was taken April 21, the FO post in her blog was May 7th. That's a lot of knitting, folks!
