Current Mood: apathetic apathetic

Record highs predicted today, near 70F - in December. WTF? Been raining for several days, but at least it's warm enough to stay liquid.

Generally feeling like crud. Way too much caffeine yesterday - 2 No-Doz when I got to work, another one a few hours later, just trying to stay on top of things. Then the server crashed and it all went to shit. Couldn't sleep worth a damn last night, every time I fell asleep I'd wake back up again. Lots of little aches & pains & stiffness, just now starting to feel close to normal four hours after first getting up.

I just want to crawl back into bed and call a do-over on this morning. I've got plenty of tasks that need doing, but can't work up the energy and/or willpower to bother with any of them. The hell with everything. Zero motivation.

Found a CD in my desk I'd forgotten I had, Christmas Grass. "A celebration of Christmas, Bluegrass style." Need to take it home to rip for the Zune, add to the Christmas playlist.

Speaking of Christmas music, stop by the FuMP and check out lukeski's Fanboy Christmas II. Freakin' hilarious. Anybody know where I can download the prequel?

Well, we are in the rising part of the 750 year cycle. Last time it got this warm this fast the Norse settled a large island in the North Atlantic and named it Greenland for all the lush plant growth.

Of course, within two or three centuries the temps had started down again and anyone (except the Inuit, whom the settlers didn't have much to do with) who didn't leave starved

So, if it's too warm for you, just wait a while. :-)
