NYC's freezing @ 02:37 pm

Current Mood: amused amused

Not sure if this was a flash mob, acting class or what, but over 200 people in Grand Central Station worked together to pull off this prank.

ETA: Apparently it's Improv Everywhere, a huge group that does public pranks.

Somebody directed me to this one, too. I liked it a lot!

Maybe it's because I'm a Missourian...but I would have looked around at them all, shrugged my shoulders and kept on with what I was doing.

I grew up in Minnesota and I probably would have watched for a few moments to see if anything was going to happen, then gone on with my day. I think my favorite part is the two friends that were just about to meet up when they froze, and they stared at each other for five minutes, then unfreezing, took that one last step and met up. For some reason that amused me. :)

*grin* Apparently we gals in the MidWest wouldn't even be phased by something so odd. Farm gals are somewhat philosophical and laid back, "Hey they froze. Huh....how 'bout that." continue walking.

Yeah, we Midwesterners don't react to very much. Sometimes it makes me feel ... deflated, I guess, because the people around me react very much to something, and I don't. I'm not likely to change it, though, and people are going to have to just get used to my more limited reactions.

*LOL* We're not exactly limited, or reserved about things. It's just that we ...well....we're a bit more laid back than most.
