easing the passage @ 04:47 pm

Current Mood: sad sad

For those who might be so inclined, would you mind lighting candles and sending energy to ease my Grandfather's passage to the next realm? I just got an email from my mom, his health's been failing gradually for years now and they finally checked him in to Hospice last night. He wasn't expected to see dawn but he did, so it could be any time now.

Sorry to hear about your Granddad. You have my wish for easy passage. Hospice will take good care of him, if it eases your mind any. They won't bother him with unnecessary things in his last days. Just look to his comfort and provide a pleasant environment with his friends and family. I know that in my dad's last days, he often would talk and laugh and chuckle in near sleep, but when asked he would say "oh... nothing... just dreaming." But I think he was seeing those who had gone before that he hadn't seen in a long time, and was enjoying their company as well. My thoughts are with you.

**hugs** Hospice will definitely take good care of him, and they're there to help the rest of you, too. Take advantage of that if you can.

May his passing be peaceful and easy.
