Question for knightaudit @ 08:07 am

Current Mood: annoyed annoyed

Hey knightaudit!

How do I get our terminal in accounting to stop trying to connect to the RALX printer every time I log in? I can't find where to take it out of my login sequence, and it doesn't show up under Printers any more.

And for other tech geeks who might be able to help:

It's running WinXP Pro. We used to be connected via Novell to a secondary network, and since that printer was faster than our regularly networked printer, my login used to find and set that secondary one as my default (prompting me to log into Novel to reach it). That secondary network isn't connected to our computer any more, but I can't get it to stop asking me to log into it anyway.

Knight Says...

Go to my computer. Disconnect the network drive aimed at RD_LEXI. Reconnect that same network letter as RALX. That should take care of the problem.

Re: Knight Says...

Ah, so it's the drive it's looking for, not the printer. That makes sense, thanks!
